2012 Best Clinical Teacher Joost Award

Every year, graduating Feinberg School of Medicine students vote for their best clinical teacher during medical school. The Class of 2012 recipient, Dr. Vinky Chadha, will receive the Joost Award for the sixth time in his career at Northwestern.

With this win, Dr. Chadha ties Dr. John Clarke as the record holder of most awards won. The Department of Medicine has won this award for 16 consecutive years.

The award will be presented at the Feinberg School of Medicine graduation luncheon on Wednesday, May 23, 2012.

 

About Dr. Chadha:

Associate Professor of Medicine - General Internal Medicine

Dr. Chadha is a graduate of Northwestern University's Honors Program in Medical Education and Northwestern's internal medicine residency program. He is an NMH site director for the junior medicine clerkship. Dr. Chadha also spends approximately twenty weeks per year on the inpatient teaching service.
