Peter Kopp, MD: Director, Endocrinology Fellowship ProgramWe welcome you to the Fellowship Program of the Division of Endocrinology, Metabolism and Molecular Medicine at Northwestern University. Our program offers an outstanding training opportunity in clinical endocrinology and, depending on your interests, in basic or clinical research. Northwestern University offers state-of-the-art facilities in the heart of Downtown Chicago. The diverse Faculty includes several nationally and internationally recognized leaders in clinical endocrinology and several areas of research. Faculty and staff are committed to providing the best possible Fellowship experience. Many of our recent graduates are now in Junior Faculty positions at academic institutions throughout the country. Please note that we participate in the Electronic Residency Application Service (ERAS), and we do not accept any paper applications. Please consult the ERAS website at http://www.aamc.org/students/eras/start.htm.
In addition to ERAS, please note that we will also participate in the National Residency Match Program (NRMP) for 2011 applications. The pertinent (tentative) deadlines are as follows:
January 6, 2010 NRMP opens for applicant and program registration
April 7, 2010 Ranking opens for applicants and programs
June 2, 2010 Ranking closes for applicants and programs
June 16, 2010 Match Day
July 1, 2011 Fellowship training begins
