Peter Kopp, MD: Fellowship Program DirectorWe welcome you to the Fellowship Program of the Division of Endocrinology, Metabolism and Molecular Medicine at Northwestern University. Our program offers an outstanding training opportunity in clinical endocrinology and, depending on your interests, in basic or clinical research. Northwestern University offers state-of-the-art facilities in the heart of Downtown Chicago. The diverse Faculty includes several nationally and internationally recognized leaders in clinical endocrinology and several areas of research. Faculty and staff are committed to providing the best possible Fellowship experience. Many of our recent graduates are now in Junior Faculty positions at academic institutions throughout the country. Please note that we participate in the Electronic Residency Application Service (ERAS), and we do not accept any paper applications. Please consult the ERAS website at http://www.aamc.org/students/eras/start.htm.
Please note: Due to funding constraints, we can currently only consider applicants who are US citizens or permanent residents (green card holders).
In addition to ERAS, please note that we will also participate in the National Residency Match Program (NRMP) for 2013 applications. The pertinent deadlines are as follows:
February-April 2012 Programs register and update information in ERAS Maintenance System
July 1, 2012 Application opens
July 15, 2012 ERAS PostOffice opens
August 1, 2012 Match opens
October 10, 2012 Rank Order List opens
November 14, 2012 Rank Order List closes
December 5, 2012 Match Day
July 1, 2013 Fellowship training begins
