Yacob G Tedla, PhD

Dr. Tedla is a cardiovascular epidemiologist. His research work focuses on arterial structural and functional abnormalities, with a special emphasis on arterial stiffness and blood pressure variability, and their impact on cardiovascular diseases. He is interested on the use of big electronic health record data to conduct clinical research while leveraging on robust epidemiologic methods and analytical techniques.

Steven M Belknap, MD

I am interested in computational medicine and specifically pharmacoalgorithmics, informally defined as "the study of what the drug prescription does to the patient." Drug therapy is more than just drugs, it includes the instructions for safely and effectively using the drugs and the resources to support those instructions (e.g., nurses, pharmacists, physicians, infusion pumps, and drug concentration measurements). A prescription is a health-care program implemented by a physician or other qualified practitioner in the form of instructions that govern the plan of care for an individual patient...

Clinical study design and conduct, randomization and treatment allocation techniques, database development and data (quality) monitoring, clinical trial data analyses and interim analyses.
