Teaching Service

There are 10 Teaching Service teams. Each team consists of 1 teaching/supervising attending, 1 resident, 1 to 2 interns, 1 subintern, and 1 to 2 third year students. The number of interns and students changes slightly throughout the year. Hospitalists staff 4 of the 10 teaching service teams. Hospitalists and other attendings rotate onto the teaching service in 14 day stints. Residents and interns rotate onto the teaching service in 28 day stints.
