Quality Initiative Proposals

All housestaff were invited to come up with "quality initiative" value proposals to help decrease cost of care while concurrently improving quality of care at Northwestern Memorial Hospital. The winners each received an iPad.

Two Department of Medicine trainees were winners for their proposals:

Nina Sung MD - Improved Healthcare Outcomes Through Preventing Errors of Omission at Discharge

Amir Marouni, MD - Value Improvement through Decreasing Unnecessary ICU Ordering
