Celebrating Braunwald's Day with Dr. Bonow
It is an annual tradition for all second year Northwestern residents to receive a textbook from the Department to thank them for their hard work and dedication. Congratulations and thank you to the Class of 2014!
This year, all residents were given Braunwald's Heart Disease - A Textbook of Cardiovascular Medicine, 9th Edition. Dr. Robert Bonow of the Division of Cardiology is the senior editor of this edition, and he personally inscribed each copy and presented it to each resident. Braunwald's Heart Disease is known as the premier cardiology textbook.
Dr. Eugene Braunwald visited Northwestern last year for a special Medical Grand Rounds. Read about it here.
This gift is made possible thanks to the generosity of Dr. Sean O'Connor, General Internal Medicine.
