This is the largest American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA) funded grant received to date in the Department of Medicine. Margrit Urbanek, Ph.D. and Geoffrey Hayes, Ph.D. are co-investigators on this study.

The Office of Research on Women's Health (ORWH) will hold its fourth and final Regional Scientific Workshop at the Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine in Chicago, IL, on October 14-16, 2009. The working group topic areas of the Northwestern University meeting are Special Populations, Clinical Trials-Research, New Technologies-Bioengineering-Imaging, Genetics-Epigenetics, Sex Hormones and Disease, Neuroscience and Women in Science Careers. You will be able to register to participate in a working group in one of these topic areas.
