Andrea Dunaif, MD: Chief, Division of Endocrinology, Metabolism, and Molecular MedicineThe National Institutes of Health has awarded Dr. Andrea Dunaif $2.3 million for her research project titled Genome Wide Association Study of Polycystic Ovary Syndrome. This is the largest American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA) funded grant received to date in the Department of Medicine. Margrit Urbanek, Ph.D. and Geoffrey Hayes, Ph.D. are co-investigators on this study.

The Office of Research on Women's Health (ORWH) will hold its fourth and final Regional Scientific Workshop at the Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine in Chicago, IL, on October 14-16, 2009.
