Andrea Dunaif, MD: Chief, Division of Endocrinology, Metabolism, and Molecular MedicineAndrea Dunaif, MD: Chief, Division of Endocrinology, Metabolism, and Molecular MedicineThe National Institutes of Health has awarded Dr. Andrea Dunaif $2.3 million for her research project titled Genome Wide Association Study of Polycystic Ovary Syndrome. This is the largest American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA) funded grant received to date in the Department of Medicine. Margrit Urbanek, Ph.D. and Geoffrey Hayes, Ph.D. are co-investigators on this study.

It is one of two awarded to Northwestern University this summer, and serves as a tremendous vote of confidence in the work Dr. Crispino is doing in the Department's Division of Hematology/ Oncology.
