Richard Green, MD: Professor of Medicine and ChiefThe Division of Hepatology is committed to a rapidly expanding program in both basic and clinical research on the pathogenesis and therapy of liver disease. Members of the Division are currently funded by research grants from the National Institutes of Health, the American Gastroenterological Association (AGA) , the American Association for the Study of Liver Disorders (AASLD), and from numerous pharmaceutical companies.
