Jeffrey H. Barsuk, MD, MS, SFHM is a Professor in the Departments of Medicine and Medical Education at Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine. He graduated Alpha Omega Alpha from Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine and completed a residency in Internal Medicine at the McGaw Medical Center of Northwestern University at Northwestern Memorial Hospital. Kevin is Chief of the Division of Hospital Medicine, Associate Chair for Quality in the Department of Medicine, and Medical Director for Quality for Northwestern Memorial Hospital. He is the founding Director of the Northwestern Medicine Academy for Quality and Safety Improvement (NM AQSI), a professional development program to train leaders in quality improvement. In 2015, AQSI received the Leape Ahead Award from the American Association for Physician Leadership.

Dr. Ann-Marie Tantoco practices as a med-peds hospitalist in Northwestern Memorial Hospital and Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children's Hospital of Chicago. She is board certified in Internal Medicine and Pediatrics.

Dr. Twaddle combines nearly thirty years of experience in the care of seriously ill people and their families in a variety of areas of service. She currently serves as the Medical Director for Palliative Medicine & Supportive Care at Northwestern Medicine - Lake Forest Hospital. Rachel has been the Clinical Practice Director for the Division of Hospital Medicine at Northwestern since 2012. Her current roles include Key Medical Director for General Medicine, co-chair of the Department of Medicine Quality Management Committee, and Quality and Safety Program Director for the Internal Medicine Residency Program. At the national level, Rachel has served on the Society of Hospital Medicine Practice Management Committee and has spoken on teamwork and interdisciplinary rounding.
