Education Committee

The Education Committee serves the DOM Fellowship training programs, Internal Medicine Residency program and the M3 and M4 Core Clerkships. Committee is made up of education and administrative leaders within the DOM that represent a broad range of education interests and involvement. These committees and their functions are overseen by:

Artificial Intelligence (AI) Curricular Needs Assessment Subcommittee

This committee’s purpose is to assess the evolving impact of artificial intelligence on medical education and learners; identify curricular needs and opportunities; communicate guidelines and best practices; and develop educational resources and curricula for faculty and learners.

Transitions to Practice Subcommittee

The purpose of this committee is to equip fellows with the knowledge and skills needed to successfully navigate the transition to practice, and learn the basics of the business of medicine, in preparation for their early years as faculty.

Coordinator Support Subcommittee

Education Coordinators are integral to the success of our educational programs. This committee identifies opportunities to strengthen coordinator support, resources, and processes, enhancing their impact on their program and learners, as well as boosting their professional development.
