Investigator Coaching

We recognize the challenges associated with launching a scientific career. While your mentoring committee, division chief and division administrator support the development of your independent research program, establishing a research career involves broader challenges.

Beyond the technical aspects of research, early career scientists must navigate:

  • Team leadership and people management
  • Strategic career development.
  • Personal growth and work-life integration.

To support you in all aspects of your scientific career, we offer specialized group coaching for early career scientists in the Department of Medicine that addresses the full spectrum of professional development needs.

For more information contact Joan Sharkey-Draves at jdraves@nm.org.
